<tpphoto><id>2032370</id></tpphoto>St Martin`s Church is the oldest of Birmingham`s Churches, and a church has stood on the current site since the 12th century. The grand gothic design of the church that we see today has been in place since the church was completely rebuilt and redesigned by Birmingham architect Alfred Chatwin in 1875. St Martin`s Church - The Bullring Inside the church stands the oldest monument in the city - a 1325 effigy of the Lord of the Manor Sir William de Bermingham. A new St Martin`s In 2000 the church interior was refurbished to bring in more light and make it more welcoming. On completion of the new Bullring shopping centre in 2003, a new St Martin`s church was unveilled. The outside was restored - revealing breathtaking architecture. An arts café, health centre and training suite were added.
